University of Virginia letter and receipt [manuscript] 1891, 1915.

The collection contains a letter, 1915 November 4, Mary Stuart Smith to "dear Edward," commenting brieftly on excitement over the University of Virginia-Vanderbilt game, then inviting Edward to come to a YMCA religious meeting at which Beverly Tucker and Whitefield Walton Brockman will be present. She conclues with a plea for his help with the "conversion" of Tucker Smith and Harrison Echols and their confirmation in the Episcopal Church. The collection also contains a receith from the Biological Laboratory to A. H. Tuttle for "sundries."
